 March 4, 2008 - DiscountASP.NET, an innovative ASP.NET hosting leader, announces the launch of Microsoft Windows 2008 Hosting on their enterprise-class shared hosting infrastructure. The new Windows 2008 hosting platform includes many new enhancements, including:
Windows Server 2008 Standard edition
Internet Information Services 7.0 (IIS7)
FTP 7 (including FTP over SSL)
PHP5

Microsoft IIS Manager access

In addition, a new Microsoft IIS Manager Permission tool is introduced allowing customers to manage the users that can have IIS 7 Manager access privileges.
